Stanton Carpet, the nation’s leading designer and manufacturer of high end wool and synthetic broadloom and area rugs is now offering machine serging as a finishing option for their Antrim branded custom area rugs. The announcement was made by Stanton’s Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan Cohen.
Stanton has always offered the best in custom fabrication services in their Calhoun, GA fabrication facility and machine serging on Antrim’s famously thick carpet adds a notable role to their resume.
Cohen said, “Offering machine serging on Antrim products at our in house facility extends direct benefit to both our customers and consumers. By producing area rugs in house from our beautiful collection of stocked carpet, production time is cut by ninety two per cent. With hand serging, finishing a rug could take anywhere from twelve to fourteen weeks. Using machine serging, we can produce and ship a rug in ten days or less.”
Rodney Brown, Stanton’s Rug Fabrication Manager said, “Since Stanton began offering machine serging on this great product only a couple weeks ago, we have already seen an increase in volume of Antrim rugs being produced in house. This new option has been well received and I look forward to seeing its continued success.”
Antrim is currently offering machine serging on its already successful running line products: Aurora, Aditi, Balan, Brugge, Bandar, Berkshire, Devon, Fusion, Gent, Glory, Nadia and Woolridge. Machine serging will also be available on Antrim’s two new 2010 products Mita and Patola.
